About Capping Machines
How does a Capping Machine work?
The functioning of a capping machine varies greatly accordingly to the type of cap application. At its most fundamental, a capping machine a capping chuck picks up the cap, positions it on the container and secures it according to a specific motion determined by the type of cap and the type of container.
A capper's performance is influenced by several factors, from reliability of cap pick-up by the capping chuck, integrated or non-integrated timing of the turret, ensuring non-slippage of the container, changeover times, and so on. PNEUMATIC SCALE Cappers are designed for high-performance cap applications and are designed with the know-how of field experts.
What are the available applications?
PNEUMATIC SCALE Cappers offer 2 main capping technologies: mechanical and servo rotary capping. Both of these technologies can achieve an output of up to 600 container per minute (36,000 containers per hour) and can cap multiple container types of various shapes (rounded or not) and sizes.
These Cappers are capable of handling a wide range of caps, including screw-on caps, pump caps, plugs, press-on caps, inner seals and overcaps.
Other applications possible for the PNEUMATIC SCALE Cappers include a Magnetic Torque Unit (MTU), Servo Cam, inspection/rejection of containers with missing pumps, straws, or incorrectly oriented pumps.
