When your project calls for the highest speeds, precision filling and easy maintenance, the Mateer 6000 is your solution. This rotary unit fills free-flowing and non-free-flowing powders and granules. Your production rate can climb to 650 Containers Per Minute (CPM), which can be improved depending on the properties of your product.

This sophisticated dry-product filling machine’s capabilities encompass precision fills of free-flowing powders and granules (e.g. spices, infant formula and detergents), and non-free-flowing powders (e.g. cake mixes, ground spices). The product is fed into a multi-station rotating turret, then deposited into interchangeable receiving funnels. A dust-free filling environment is maintained as containers are filled to a specific volume. The Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) provide easy input, self-diagnostics, and access to data that can guide your productivity. Programming is included in the installation of any Mateer filler.

Precise to within +/- 0.5% with a check weigher, which can be engineered to greater accuracy with product testing
Food-grade stainless-steel receiving funnels stand up to continuous use at high temperatures, alkalis, acids and salt
Auger drive shaft, common to all auger sizes
Zepf Solutions Color-coded “no tool” change parts for fast, easy changeovers
Has a National Electrical Manufacturer Association (NEMA) 12 dust-proof control enclosure that protects your rotary’s internal workings against dust, dirt, oil, even corrosive liquids
22” diameter (559 mm), 16 gal (60 liter) capacity stainless steel hopper with dust-proof cover so pests, dirt, or dust can’t contaminate product. This also has a 7” (178 mm) diameter infeed duct. An interlocking inspection port allows operators to safely, easily, check hopper contents.
Positive container control via UHMW dual main starwheels and container guides
Automatic and jog control switches enhance efficiency in filling line operations
Mechanical jack raises fill head(s) and turret to make adjusting to containers of different heights easy and fast
Turret can be stopped in cases of container jam or downstream backups, reducing product loss and downtime
Bottom rail vibration stations and turret vibration help product flow freely into container
Easily track CPM and other critical data on HMI
Mateer fillers are designed for operator safety, and include polycarbonate guards, hands-free height adjustments, interlocking access doors

Air, or short, lift is a pressure or vacuum-assisted lift for raising containers off conveyors for weighing applications
Vibrators to help settle product, located at the filling position or farther down the production line
Level and cut off controls
Remote fill options, allowing an operator to oversee production on multiple machines at a time
Line guards detect back ups downstream, and will halt filling until the conveyor is cleared
Checkweigh feedback will change the amount of product is filled by adjusting auger revolutions based on a feedback pulse
