Like the CB50C upon which it is based, the CBR family allows you to easily can beer, cider, seltzer, carbonated soft drinks (CSD) and more, at carbonation levels of up to 4.1 vols/8.0 g/l CO2. Currently available as a 12 (12-head filler, 3-spindle seamer) or 16/4 (16-head filler, 4-spindle seamer) configuration, the CBR system enables faster speeds and continuous motion for a smooth transition from filling to seaming, eliminating unnecessary agitation, and reducing Dissolved Oxygen (DO) levels.
Cans are purged of oxygen prior to filling, with configurable purge and snift times to control foaming. Under Cover Gassing (UCG) at the turret lid feed and a bubble breaker positioned ahead of the Angelus seamer serve to keep DO levels to an industry-leading minimum. Achieving the proper Foam on Beer (FOB) is no longer required to maintain low DO thanks to true UCG, thus widening the operating range of the filler and reducing adjustments needed when changing from one product to another.
The CBR family builds upon the success of previous counter-pressure models with the added advantage of a full rotary system. Combining a rotary filling turret with rotary seaming means you can increase CPM while maintaining best-in-class Angelus seam integrity without increasing product agitation. This enables you to eliminate unwanted reductions in carbonation levels seen with other filling methods.

- Twelve- or 16-head rotary counter pressure filling turret coupled with a three- or four-spindle rotary seamer in a compact footprint, rated for up to 150 CPM
- True isobarometric filling accomplished with an on-board product supply tank, ASME (optional CE or CRN) certified to 60 psi/4 bar
- Quick change adjustments for various can height/body diameters, suitable for 200 to 206 can ends with no valve change required, 202 to 300 can body diameter, and 2-3/8” - 8” (60 mm – 203 mm) can height
- Proprietary precision magnetic flow meter technology ensures filling accuracy with little to no waste
- Filler bowl positioned above the fill heads allows product to be gravity fed, as opposed to pumped/forced upward
- Integrated inline filler with single head can seamer, rated for continuous operation at speeds up to 50 CPM
- Filler designed with quick-change adjustments for easy changeover for various can height/body diameters

- Recipe-driven automatic motorized turret height adjustment
- Quick change levers for repeatable changeovers; seaming levers designed with specific material and dimensions allowing torsional windup for superior double seam formation
- Individual Zerk fittings for manual lubrication of seaming rolls
- Leverages the same counter-pressure technology as in high-speed beverage lines, but scaled for the needs of craft beverage
- Seaming cam easily removed/replaced for possible future changes in material, can size and/or seaming specifications
